Welcome to The Guidance Center

The Guidance Center promotes healthy communities by providing integrated behavioral healthcare services and partnering in the delivery of general healthcare in Atchison, Jefferson and Leavenworth counties. We envision a healthy community of people who can access and benefit from state of the art integrated health care which results in an enhanced quality of life for all.

We provide a full range of quality outpatient programs and services for individuals, children, families and businesses in our communities.


  • MDCPT Program

    The Multi-Disciplinary Child Protection Team (MDCPT) was formed in 2001 to provide coordinated services for parents and caregivers of school-aged children and youth experiencing challenges at home, in school and in the community.

  • Access Clinic

    The Guidance Center offers same day initial appointments at its Leavenworth location between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Thursday. You will meet with a clinical staff member who will assess your treatment needs and assist you in scheduling your next appointment. Initial appointments in Atchison and Oskaloosa are scheduled with those offices directly.

     

  • Lunch and Learn Workshops

    On May 21, 2013 the public is invited to attend an "Reducing Family Anxiety and Worry" Lunch and Learn presentation from noon to 1pm at 500 Limit Street in Leavenworth, KS. Additional public education presentations will follow on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

    The Guidance Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible and are used to support programs and services for individuals and families experiencing behavioral health issues.
