Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities at The Guidance Center. We are a non-profit Community Mental Health Center licensed by the State of Kansas to provide community based behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services.

Early Childhood Attendant Care Worker (Leavenworth - Part Time): This position provides Attendant Care services to clients participating in the Center’s Early Childhood Psychosocial Program. Primary duties include: promoting successful group interactions among consumers, encouraging and supporting clients’ engagement in activities and assisting client’s efforts to effectively problem–solve and interact with others. Hours for this position will be Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of college course work in the field of human services, or one year of experience in the field of human services and six months experience working with individuals in the community.




Youth Targeted Case Manager (Leavenworth): This position provides Targeted Case Management (TCM) to SED children/youth, following the strengths model of case management. TCM contacts are provided at TGC offices, in the clients’ homes, community, or other natural settings. Services provided include facilitation of treatment planning, service coordination, access to resources and collateral contacts to assist with treatment progress.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or be equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the human services field with one year of experience substituting for one year of education.
