Outpatient therapy for adults

A wide variety of problems are addressed in outpatient therapy, including depression, anxiety, trauma, marital problems, parent-child problems, sexual problems, anger management difficulties, substance abuse problems, and impulse control disorders. Treatment is solution-focused and may be brief or extended, based upon your needs.

Additionally, services are available for divorcing or separating parents, including parenting education, mediation services, and pre-divorce/post divorce therapy. General Responsibilities as Separating Parents (GRASP) is a two-hour session designed to provide education to divorcing parents in Atchison County. A similar program called the Divorcing Parents Seminar is available in Jefferson County. Both are available at a cost of $30 per participant. These services are intended to assist parents in co-parenting successfully and reduce the negative effects of divorce on their children.
